What is a “check”?

One file, or one part of a long file. A part is up to about 8 pages (20,000 characters). A poster or leaflet is one check; a 20-page report is three. Checks reset on the 1st of each month.

What happens if we run out?

You’ll see a warning when you’re close to your limit. If you run out, checking pauses until the 1st of the month, with a clear message. An admin can switch to a bigger plan at any time, and it takes effect straight away.

Can I try it first?

Yes. You get one free proof of a file up to about 8 pages, with no account needed. Try it on the homepage. When you create an account, your team gets a free trial: 5 checks over 14 days, with no card needed.

How do I pay?

By card, through Paddle, our payment provider. Paddle adds VAT, GST or sales tax where it applies, and sends invoices by email.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes, at any time. Switching plans charges or credits the difference straight away. Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Monthly plans can be paused for up to three months instead, and nothing is charged while a plan is paused.

Will it catch every mistake?

No tool can promise that, and we’d be suspicious of one that did. Final Eyes reads each file three times, independently, then double-checks every suggestion, so it catches a lot. It can’t check text that’s been turned into shapes, or judge whether names, facts and prices are right. Try one proof free and see for yourself.

Which plan suits a freelancer?

Solo: one person and 30 checks a month, about 7 posters, leaflets or short documents a week. If you regularly check more than that, Starter gives you 100 checks and room for two collaborators.

Which currency will I pay in?

US dollars, or pounds, euros, Australian dollars or Canadian dollars if you’re in the UK, the eurozone, Australia or Canada. This page shows the prices for where you are. Elsewhere, checkout shows the dollar price converted into your currency where it can.

Is yearly cheaper?

Yes. Paying yearly gives you two months free.
